Ronald J. Vance

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Ronald Vance joined Teck in January 2006 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. He is currently responsible for a wide range of activities related to the company’s internal and external growth, including business development, marketing and sales, and the Technology Division.

Prior to joining Teck, Mr. Vance was Managing Director of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking with Rothschild Inc. His career with Rothschild spanned over 14 years, leading the firm’s Resource Banking and Treasury business before moving to investment banking. He also worked with Newmont Mining Corporation both as Vice President, Marketing and Vice President, Project Development.

Mr. Vance holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hobart College and an MBA from Columbia University.
