Technology plays a critical role in maintaining Trail Operations as a leading integrated smelter and refinery complex. In Exploration, external research provides new approaches and methods to improve the chance of discovery. Interaction with universities is critical for Exploration and other areas of Applied Technology.

The skills and energy of our technical people are fundamental to success. Many people join the company based on their technical competency but advance through Applied Technology to take on many roles in other parts of the company.
